This policy explains how Dr Shashank Agrawal legal name exactly as on the GST certificate ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use this website and buy from it. It is written under the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, mobile number, email (if you give it), delivery address, PIN code, and what you bought.
- When you pay: the payment is made on the payment gateway's own secure page. We receive only whether the payment succeeded, the amount, the method (for example UPI or card) and a reference number. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN, CVV or bank login.
- When you consult: the health details you choose to share with Dr Shashank, such as your complaint, your history and the medicines you take.
- When you browse: basic technical information such as device type and pages visited. Your cart is kept only in your own browser.
Why we use it
- To pack, send and deliver your order, and to tell you where it is
- To call or message you about your order, including a reminder before your medicine runs out
- To give you medical advice in a consultation, and keep a record of it as a doctor must
- To issue a GST invoice and keep accounts as the law requires
- To answer your questions and complaints
We will only send you offers or health tips if you have agreed, and you can say stop at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or emailing drshashank.ayurveda@gmail.com.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone. We share only what is needed with:
- The courier company, to deliver your order (name, phone, address)
- The payment gateway, to take your payment
- The technology providers who host this website and our records, under confidentiality
- Government authorities, only when the law requires it
Your health information
Health details are sensitive. They are seen only by Dr Shashank and the clinic staff who need them to care for you, and are never used for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires, usually eight years. Consultation records are kept as medical practice rules require. Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where the law allows. Write to drshashank.ayurveda@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
The website runs on a secure connection (https). Access to order and patient records is limited to the people who need it.
Cookies
This website uses your browser's own storage to remember your cart. We do not use advertising cookies at present. If that changes, this policy will say so first.
Children
This website is meant for adults aged 18 and above. Orders for a child must be placed by a parent or guardian.
